Sabbatical
Sabbaticals are short periods when faculty have an opportunity to conduct research, study, revise courses, take courses and improve their teaching and scholarship. Sabbaticals are competitive, and faculty considering a sabbatical are advised to understand the application process long before their prospective date of leave.
Sabbatical applications for the 2013-2014 academic year are due March 19, 2012.
Faculty who are interested in applying for a sabbatical should plan to attend a university-wide meeting on Thursday, February 16th, 2012 at 5:30 PM (107 Weyandt Hall), where the guidelines for the 2013-2014 academic year will be distributed and questions addressed by the members of the University-Wide Sabbatical Leave Committee.
