Negotiations

The contract (or CBA) between faculty and the state system must be renewed periodically, typically every three years. This gives us the opportunity to think about what we as a union want from it. It is the responsibility of the Negotiations Committee to "consult with membership to identify contractual issues of concern to IUP-APSCUF and shall transmit these concerns to Representative Council." Our chapter president and the chair of the negotiations committee represent our views to the State APSCUF organization.

This academic year (2006-07), APSCUF negotiators from across the state will be working toward a new contract. Please see the statewide site and chapter blog for updated information on progress.
